Support Services

At the Language Centre, welfare is recognised as a very important area for students of secondary school age. We provide continuing support with a range of problems that might arise in the course of adjustment to a new cultural, social and educational environment. At times, students will need guidance and the replacement of parental input. To meet these perceived needs, we offer:

counselling services (two campus counsellors)
health services (on site nurse; visiting doctor)
progress reporting to parents, agents and schools further studies advice

Important components in high school education are sports, fitness and sociability. The Centre offers excellent sporting and fitness facilities. An extensive program of after class projects, clubs and sports activities offers great opportunities for students to develop all three components, at the same time improving their general English language skills through informal language practice.
