Mohawk 대학은 캐나다에서 가장 큰 규모의 지역 대학의 하나로 25년 이상의 국제 활동 경험을 가지고 있으며 20여개의 캠퍼스와 교육센터를 두고 있다. 대부분의 과정이 유학생들에게 열려있고 전 세계의 많은 외국인 학생들이 이곳에서 교육을 받고 있다.간호학,기술,미디어,건강과학등의 과정이 있다. 많은 기업과의 협력으로 다양한 인턴십 프로그램을 제공하고, 기술제휴, 재교육 등 학생들이 사회에 보다 쉽고 빠르게 적응할 수 있도록 도와주고 있다. 도서관, 어학실습실, 컴퓨터 실습실, 양호실, 헬스장 등 다양한 시설을 잘 갖추고 있다.

주변 환경 해밀턴은 캐나다 온타리오 주 남부에 있는 도시로 인구 약 31만 8천명이다. 온타리오 호 서쪽 끝에 위치하며, 훌륭한 항만시설을 갖추고 있다. 철도 ·도로 교통의 요지이기도 하다. 제철을 비롯하여 전기기계기구 ·섬유 등의 제조업이 활발하다. 토론토와 나이아가라 폭포 사이에 위치하여 다양한 볼거리를 제공하는 곳이다. | | | |

College Entrance English
Mohawk College offers courses for second language speakers in post secondary programs. The ACC department, found within Language Studies, assists students in developing their English Language Skills. All courses offered in the ACC department have an increased focus on the English Language, as well as regular course content. The credit received from these courses will replace the regular Language courses.
Due to the increased numbers of Second Language Speakers enrolled in Post Secondary Programs, there have been concerns about the language performance level of many students. The mission of the ACC is to identify and assess the language proficiency of Mohawk College students, as well as deliver courses that meet the language needs of these students while giving credit for mainstream Communications, Active Citizenship and Research and Reporting courses.
