English Improvement - part-time English courses with a focus on improve your English Speaking, Reading, Writing.  This course is to assist second language speakers with improving their performance in the workplace and therefore their chances of promotion. There are 8 modules in the English Improvement Courses.  The modules run over 10 weeks, with 40 contact hours. Advanced English and Business English courses are 16 weeks long. English Improvement Courses are also available for companies and government departments (see Corporate English improvement courses).

English as a Foreign Language – full-time English courses for learners who need to learn to speak English before going to college or university, or before starting work, as well as those who simply want to be able to socialize with confidence in an English speaking environment. The General English course is fulltime for 7 weeks. The EFL department also offers an English Immersion Course for senior executives (see English Courses for Business Executives).

Language Teacher Education – whether you are new to language teaching or are a professional teacher we have a range of courses that will help you develop your language teaching skills: Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL); Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL); Teaching Business English (TBE)
